Adult lesbian dating and lesbian relationship
When I meet new people with my girlfriend— whether they're gay or straight— most people assume I'm a lesbian. People even say things like "The thing about dating a man is...".Which just makes me want to roll my eyes and say "Please, bitch, the dicks I've seen..." but that would super inappropriate.
Obviously, it's down to the person, but there are some differences in being with a man versus being with a woman.
For those people who chose to come out as bi, even if they've only been in straight relationships, it can be a traumatic process.
If I'm honest, however, up until I started dating a woman a year ago, it's been relatively smooth sailing. My family knew but sort of ignored it, and it didn't really cause any ripples.
It's so nice to just have it be assumed that you're equals in a relationship — to have no conventions to disregard.
We’ve been at this business of art for nearly six years, which means we’ve said a thing or two about a thing or two: like how to be a queer woman who meets, desires and romances women or otherwise-identified humans out there. So we thought it’d be cool to compile a Lesbian Dating 101 for you, comprised of all the fantastic how-to guides we’ve published over the last many moons.
